Ironclad Dominion is patient strategy, the kind where a single match can span a coffee break or a whole evening. You manage resources, plan expansion routes, and try to read what the AI or other players are up to before they commit. Nothing is rushed, and that's the appeal.

The interface deserves credit for cramming a lot of information onto a phone without becoming a mess. Menus nest sensibly and the map pinches and pans smoothly. There's a learning curve, but the tutorial walks you through it without holding your hand too long.

If you like games you can think about while you're doing something else, this one sinks its hooks in. Just don't expect fireworks in the first few turns.
