Adventure
Lantern Hollow
★★★★☆ 4.3
Lantern Hollow is more mood than mechanics, and I mean that as praise. You wander a misty world holding a lantern, solving light puzzles and piecing together what happened here from notes and environmental clues. It's slow, atmospheric, and beautifully quiet.
Movement is tap-to-walk with a few contextual actions, which keeps things simple so the world can do the talking. The puzzles never got frustrating, and the sense of place kept me poking into every corner. Headphones make it much better.
This won't be for people who want constant action. But if you like a game that lets you breathe, it's a lovely little journey.
